Wevew offers a unique way to share photos and videos, as well as mirror screens, allowing users and their friends to experience content together seamlessly. What sets Wevew apart is its ability to function without the need for mobile service or a WiFi connection. Regardless of your location, Wevew can establish a private and secure network for sharing.

When out with friends looking to capture memorable moments, Wevew simplifies the process. By using the app, any photo taken can be instantly shared with those within your network.

The sharing process is streamlined; simply open Wevew and hold your iPhone close to another device for a few seconds. The app detects the proximity and creates a stable connection. Users can share photos, allowing friends not only to view but also to interact with the images. Videos can be shared as well, playing in perfect synchronization on all participating iPhones.

Importantly, shared content remains under the control of the original owner. You can choose to allow friends to save images or restrict access to them. Once you decide to end sharing, a straightforward process enables you to unshare content easily. If you exit Wevew and move away from your network, shared photos will automatically unshare after approximately 15 minutes.

Wevew does request permissions related to location, photos, and camera access. The use of Location Services is solely for assessing proximity between users rather than tracking their actual locations. Granting photo permissions enables the app to facilitate sharing and saving received photos, while camera access is requested when capturing new images.
